thanksgiving themed updates:

in the spirit of procrastination ( i have a test tomorrow) i'm going to give everyone an update on stuff complete w/thanksgivingish pictures to get you in the spirit)
1. chrees has recently ventured into the wild kingdom and we haven't heard from him in a few days
2. eb is on a project spree. it's a bonifide bonanza of crafts and such going down a t-vegas (i'm a big fan of the drink and dance though. big fan.)
3. michelle is popo b/c she's broken.
4. lance is refusing to post anything new and i may have to de-link him. it's never been done before but he needs some tough love
5. erin k and hubs of cb seem to be drinking alot..albeit in different time zones
6. cb's got a cold and showed harrison ford where the bathroom was (unrelated happenings)
7. the hat has recovered from her elbow mishap. you might not know this b/c it's been awhile since she's posted (not that i'm monitoring or anything. but really it's been a while)
8. andrew has been forbidden to post the famed video of the hat so he's taking it out on football coaches
9. nemesis is soggy and apparently reading the biggest microsoft book ever
10. erin l has begun her birthday week (complete w/3 days off) which will culminate w/a bender downtown saturday night. i like erin's birthday week.
11. dirty herb showed me his saturday night outfit a little while ago and let me tell you, i haven't recovered yet.
12. chauncey is still a big skeery plaster head living in manland

i should probably study a little now.

oh but i forgot an update on me... i'm already feeling fat and sassy and i haven't even hit the holiday chow yet and i feel the badger stirring within (i've already grumped at hersch today) so i'm just a big old party walking around right now. won't you come to my party please?

there is a massive bull in the large animal hospital today. his name is wesson and he pulls little carts. he is e-n-o-r-m-o-u-s. he could step over freckles the longhorn.... well he could if he didn't have that gimp leg. he's got radial nerve paralysis from lying on his side during sx. they couldn't get him lifted up onto pads.
but, no matter guys, he is large



tomorrow i will figure out how to upload pictures from my camera so that i may share wesson with the world -- or at least with you guys.

right, you guys know i probably won't do that camera thing tomorrow or anytime in the near future...so anybody up for another field trip to the barn?

cd swap-a-roo.... check
sears family portrait complete w/ chauncey and popsy... check
upsetting (the alledged )kimber the photographer.....check
seeing kimber the photographer walk out......check
spending way too much time at sears.... check
dinner at team leggett's.... check (thanks she leggett for buying too many porkchops; thanks he leggett for not freezing them individually and for cooking them)
poker....i'd say that's a big fat check.

(at some point before sleep, i took satchel out who decided to get yippy and wrap her leash around my legs by running continuous circles around me like a spazz..... so many times that had i been a cartoon character, i would have fallen over.

sunday morning: i amble downstairs to take up my position on the couch. there i am to stay for the rest of the day rising only for necessities (coke, bathroom)
movie night and peking take out w/she and he leggett, chrees, and ebs: saturday the 14th and 11:14 ( really didn't notice yesterday that both movies had 14 in the title. i'm a little freaked out right now b/c i don't know if that means something)

monday: i only had one class which i skipped: what did i do with my day you ask?
watched some crappy movies on tv
did laundry
cleaned the bathtub
ran 10 miles (well 9 anyway.....we'll have to see about this marathon thing)
ate pancakes (i'm really on a pancake kick right now even though they kind of make me sick.... it could be all the syrup i smother them with but whatever)
watched a movie w/ the hubs

sidenote of no interest to anyone: monkey did not like her new canned diet food. she just sat and looked b/wn it and me. she only held out for an hour before she was eating it like nobody's business. i thought that was funny so i shared it.

i am looking at one hairy fat critter named hatfield. he is fatter than monkey. some of you will realize that says a lot. i am supposed to be coming up with a super detailed plan for repairing a tibial fracture but instead am eating mini reese cups and scratching my belly. it's way more fun.

i get to see my niece tomorrow. yay.

she is way cuter than this.
